This week we participated in a drill at Amazon's refueling station. Amazon's fleet of vehicles is moving toward cleaner alternatives, including compressed natural gas (CNG). Members were given an overview of the CNG transportation system and how the vehicles are fueled. Topics included safety features of the CNG transport vehicles and tractors and emergency response to incidents. Members of the Avenel Fire Department, Port Reading Fire Department and Middlesex County Hazmat joined us.
